Dr. William E. Randall

Dr. William E. Randall, M.D., serves as the Medical Director of the Lung Center at Lutherville Personal Physician, one of Mercy's community-based sites.  Dr. Randall brings vast experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine.

Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine, Dr. Randall received his medical degree, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  Dr. Randall formerly served as Chief of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.  He also served on the medical faculties of the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins Schools of Medicine.

Dr. Randall has been a long-time consultant to the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.  Dr. Randall has authored numerous publications and has served as a speaker and guest lecturer for various medical committees.  Dr. Randall is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Physicians, American Thoracic Society, Maryland Thoracic Society, Maryland Medical Chirurgical Society, Southern Maryland Association, Baltimore County Medical Association, and American Medical Association.  He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Physicians.
